7 nin Matsuri translate in English is "7 Person Festival". They were part of the annual Hello! Project Shuffle (which also consisted in this year of 3 nin Matsuri and 10 nin Matsuri), which involved taking various girls from Morning Musume and other groups, and mixing them into different groups to perform a single song. Hello! Project shuffle units is an annual event in the Japanese idol group, Hello! Project that started in 2000. The idea was to shuffle up the existing Hello! Project groups and soloists (e.g. Morning Musume, Country Musume, Aya Matsuura, Melon Kinenbi, and others)

Now Shibata Ayumi was in Melon Kinenbi, Yaguchi Mari and Gotou Maki were in Morning Musume, Asami was in Country Musume, Ayaka and Refua were in Coconuts Musume.

The name 3nin Matsuri literally translates english to "3 person Festival". They released the single " Chuu! Natsu Party チュッ！夏パ～ティ " ( Kiss! Summer Party ) to great success on July 4, 2001, outselling the other shuffle units' singles in 2001. The group's theme for the song has been said to have been "overwhelming cuteness".

3nin Matsuri (三人祭) is the Hello! Project 2001 shuffle group consisting of Rika Ishikawa and Ai Kago of Morning Musume, along with Aya Matsuura (which also consisted in this year of 7 nin Matsuri and 10 nin Matsuri). involved taking various girls from Morning Musume and other groups, and mixing them into different groups to perform a single song. At this time Ishikawa Rika and Kago Ai were in Morning Musume, and Matsuura Aya had released her first two solo singles.

Due to the age difference between the 6 members (the difference between oldest member, Sakamoto and youngest member, Okada, is 9 years), the band was separated into "20th Century" and "Coming Century".




Debut on 1999, 20th Century is one half of the Johnnys Jimusho group V6. The other half of the group is known as "Coming Century". V6 were seperated into these two units near the group's formation according the members age differences. 20th Century is generally known for participating in musicals and plays, whereas 20th Century is generally known for appearing in more TV dramas and such. These two units typically only release songs as their sub-unit names as B-sides on V6 singles. It is somewhat rare that a single will be released under the name of one of the sub-units, though it has happened.

This band originally formed in 1998, with their drummer is Wacchan. Wacchan left the band In 1999 . After doing some hurried auditioning, they took on guitarist Kazuya's younger brother Yoshiaki. 175R has also collaborated on songs with popular punk group Shaka Labbits (on the single "Stand By You"), and with Kick the Can Crew rapper MCU (on the single "Orange"). Band debut in 2001 and has released seven singles, four albums and four DVDs. 175R means "Inago Rider," which is derived from the goroawase of "175" plus "R" for "rider." Inago (蝗) in Japanese language (kanji) means grasshopper, a reference to Kamen Rider Series.

Melody, one of their songs, has been used in a music-related video game for the Nintendo DS called Osu! Tatakae! Ouenda. the group sang the ending theme for the Kamen Rider Movie Kamen Rider Den-O: I'm Born! In 2007
